Wellbeing for your

whole being

Sarah Mills began practising Yoga in the Masonic Centre, Sinnamon Park 25 years ago after the birth of her second son. Our teacher was Fiona Heffell and we loved Yoga with Fiona. Fast forward 15 years and after completing Yoga teacher training,  Sarah was invited to run our Tuesday eve Yoga Classes as Fiona’s life changed direction.

After a year, Centenary Yoga was born! We now run 10 classes a week, our beautiful teachers boasting a wide variety of Yoga backgrounds. We at Centenary Yoga, are a warm a nd helpful community, passionate about helping you to establish a regular yoga practice which will build your strength, resilience and flexibility. Yoga brings benefits physically, emotionally and mentally and has the added and often unexpected benefit of enabling you to gradually release emotional blockages and habits in your life that are no longer serving you.

Ultimately, by committing to a regular Yoga practice, you will discover and harness lifelong tools that bring out the best You that you can be!

You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat and anything else you need. We are fully equipped with mats, bolsters, blankets and
other props. Please let us know if you have any additional needs, injuries, or medical conditions that you wish to discuss if
you are a new student with us. We provide a registration form upon your first visit.

What we offer

Comfort

From our comfortable, air-conditioned centre in Sinnamnon Park, we operate a comprehensive range of classes bringing many facets of meditation and Yoga to the residents of the Western Suburbs and Sherwood. From our dedicated class for beginners, Monday evenings; our end-of the-month Deep Restorative Yoga sessions (requires pre-booking), workshops, our weekly Women’s Circle, Yin Yoga and a variety of Yogic styles, we are sure to provide the classes and experiences that resonate with you.

Wellness

The benefits of Yoga – physical, mental and spiritual wellness, can best be experienced if you participate on a regular basis. To facilitate this, Centenary Yoga offers a selection of multi ticket passes, as well as the option of simply coming along and joining in by paying at the studio. Our selection of passes will give you the option to sign up for a specified number of classes, which can be taken at your convenience, or time framed memberships that allow you to attend as many classes as you wish within the specified time – 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.

Retreats

Supplementary to our classes, we also offer 3 and 5 day Yoga and relaxation retreat based in the beautiful and tranquil setting of Springbrook Mountain, an easy distance from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. At this idyllic location, participants have the perfect opportunity to take a step back from their often hectic schedule of day to day life and participate in daily Yoga and meditation sessions, a massage and completely unwind and relax, whilst being fully catered for by our outstanding chef.
